Every year Merched y Wawr organise a writing competition for Welsh learners. The Closing Date for 2025 is St David’s Day - March 1st - so if you’re a budding writer in Welsh, there’s lots of time for you to compose something.
The poster below explains what you need to do, but for those who aren’t able to read Welsh yet, I’ll just mention the categories and topics:
Basic Level (up to 100 words) - My Friend
Middle Level (up to 300 words) - My Interest
Advanced Level (up to 500 words) - My favourite guest for a meal
