One of the ways that women learning Welsh can really boost their language skills along is to join a Merched y Wawr group. They are scattered over Cymru and tend to be very welcoming to learners. They usually meet once a month and have an invited guest to speak or demonstrate something, then there is time for a cuppa and socialising.
The Merched y Wawr group in Radur, Caerdydd is looking for new members and they’ve posted a schedule of their coming meetings. Note that they have a special evening for “Dysgwyr / Siaradwyr Newydd” on March 1st - a nice way to celebrate St David’s Day!
