If you’d like to try your hand at writing a little in Welsh, Merched y Wawr have a competition going for Welsh learners. The details are on the poster below:
Learners Competition 2022
Sylfaen - “My Friend”
(maximum 100 words)
Canolradd - “Interests”
(maximum 300 words)
Hyfedredd and Uwch - “My world”
(maximum 500 words)
OPEN TO ALL
If you’re already won in one category you can’t compete in it again, but you can in a higher category.
You should include your name, address and contact phone number in an envelope and give a pseudonym to your work.
CLOSING DATE 1ST MARCH
The winners will receive a book token and trophy in the Summer Festival in Machynllet 21 May 2022. If a winner is a woman, she’ll receive a year’s membership in Merched y Wawr.
