Mynediad De, Uned 4 - Robin Radio…i Melbourne, o Melbourne - should it not be i Felbourne, o Felbourne ?

Similarly - does Meidrim become - i Feidrim, o Feidrim ?

Diolch yn fawr am unrhyw gymmorth

When a geographical name is in Welsh, they are generally mutated (i.e. even places outside Wales when the name is in Welsh e.g. Manceinion/Manchester), but with non-Welsh geographical names, whilst it’s common to hear mutations of some non-Welsh place names in speech, it’s ‘technically’ looked down upon in written or formal (or ‘standardised’) Welsh.

Diolch Siaron, mae hwna’n glir. It makes sense and is clear, thank you!
