For those of you who enjoyed my first non-fiction ebook for learners, Adar yr Ardd, I’m happy to say that I’ll soon be crowdfunding for the sequel, Mamaliaid Prydain, which is unsurprisingly about British mammals!
If you’d like to pre-register to be notified when the crowdfunder goes live, then please sign up here (just click the link then click ‘Notify me on launch’):

And please do share with any other groups you’re in – the more people pre-register, the faster I can launch!
The crowdfunder goal is fairly low, so it will pay for licences for some lovely illustrations that I’d like to use. I’ll be recording matching audiobooks to go with the ebook, including a ‘shadow’ version with pauses between the sentences so that you can repeat aloud. Any additional money raised will allow me to spend more time preparing the audiobooks, so then I can get everything done faster.
The book itself is written already, and currently being worked on by my fabulous editor. As with Adar yr Ardd, each chapter features an annotated illustration of the animal in question, plus a short description and a vocab list. It’ll feature 12 mammals: hedgehog, badger, red squirrel, pine marten, dormouse, pipistrelle bat, mole, Scottish wild cat, fox, red deer, hare, and otter.
I hope you’re all as excited by this new book as I am!
