That is a great article - thanks so much for sharing. Many fantastic insights, but this paragraph particularly struck me as being useful to us:

By definition, every language is limitless as long as speakers are still speaking it or signers are signing it. No language ends on the last page of a dictionary. From a finite number of sounds, words, rules and techniques, speakers form an infinite number of utterances. There is no single way that a community “really speaks”, nor any one authoritative type of data to preserve for all time. Language is too fluid.
