Hello All. A few of us are taking part in a thread on Slack about our favourite Welsh language tracks and we are looking at Geraint Jarman’s track “Mabinogi” from his album “ Diwrnod i’r brenin”. Does anyone out there have original album and if so are there lyrics on the back of the sleeve? We are trying to work out the lyrics but have a lot of gaps. Thanks!! Grace Wilkins

I myself would love to assemble the words to “Byrgyr Mabinogi”, also by Gerain Jarman
It definitely helps if you read a summary of the Mabinogi stories on Wikipedia. The “mabinogi” track is I think about the part of the story where the dogs are killed and the blood is smeared over Rhiannon. I will try listening to your track to see what I can understand of it

“Byrgyr Mabinogi” is added on genius.com - a draft is slowly forming itself as I listen to it with my wife. What a gem!
I also added “Mabinogi”, although there’s only a small portion yet, and possibly with errors.
If anyone is interested in transcribing with me by ear, please do contribute - anybody with an account can edit the lyircs as far as I can see.
