Level 2 challenge 9?

I am struggling with this challenge because there are a few sentences around the 12 to 13 minute mark where I just can’t understand what is being said and it is not in the vocab section either. It is something na gy nhw

I remembered reading an answer before, see if it helps!

Na, nad, nag

Challenge level 2 number 9 “that they didn’t want” came out as “nag 'yn nhw’n moyn.” I thought na in that context became nad before a vowel while nag means than. Is nag in this sense just a colloquial way of saying nad?

I’ve also completed that challenge last week and also did a “WHAT??!!” and hit the pause button! I assumed the ‘nagu nhw’n moyn’ to be a shorthand version of the ‘don nhw ddim yn moyn’ that we had been using for ‘they didn’t want’. Couldn’t find it in the vocab though. Keeps us on our toes just as we’re thinking we’ve got the lesson in the bag!
