It’s “trio” - and not only phonetically, this is in fact the correct spelling.

If you ever tried to speak Czech then this “r” in trio is more like that Czech ř. Hope it helps.

… or Trio choc bar, if you are old enough to remember them. I just checked - they stopped making them 13 years ago apart from a brief recent come back. That can’t be right.

I wondered where they’d gone!
