We Londoners are learning Welsh with SSI as Gareth (from Newport) wants to go to the Eisteddfod in August 2025. We’ve got 9 hours under our belts and wondered if anyone else has a similar Eisteddfod objective.

What a good idea! With your subscription, you’re entitled to join the SSiW Community Chat Slack group, so I’ve sent you an invitation.
There you can take part in online group chats, and get in touch with other learners at a similar stage, so you could well find people with the goal of the Eisteddfod in mind.

I also have this as an objective. I’ve tried learning welsh a few times in the past, but unfortunately other things have got in the way (such is life I guess). I never got that far, in fact I think I’m further this time around.I’ve got about 20 hours of SSiW under my belt and more S4C than I probably should be watching 
I’m excited to hopefully get a decent amount of welsh into me between now and then and can come to wales a welsh speaker
