Radio Cardiff airs learners from North and South!
A former Forum member is on the program Y Cwtsh on Radio Cardiff next Sunday between 8 and 9pm in Y Cwtsh reviewing “Fi a Mr. Huws” by Mared Lewis where he plugs SSiW. He’s read about ten Welsh books this year…as well as sending some to learners to help them. You can stream it online too

He’s still organising learners’ weekends and is currently doing course hyfedredd with Coleg Cambria. He teaches in an English medium school but speaks Welsh with the Welsh staff.
He’s getting married next year in Caernarfon through the medium of welsh.
I only know because we’re in touch most days.
I thought many Forum members would want to share the evidence of his success and, let’s face it, that of SSiW!
I envy him his energy!
Radio Cardiff is great, not a lot of Welsh on it though. Sadly I live too far out in the suburbs to pick it up from their one transmitter, but sometimes listen on the web. I’ll try and give it a listen
I hope it works on iPads as well, or I will not be able to hear it! i will test it this evening!
Edit It works on my iPad. I waited through music then got an advert for Radio Cardiff, which I doubt would be on anything else!
I know him and yes, I’ll listen to him on Radio Cardiff because I know him and Radio Cardiff and I know some of the staff of Radio Cardiff too. Da iawn! Very happy for him in deed!
And yes, Radio Cardiff is on TuneIn app and adress is also right www.radiocardiff.org. Not much Welsh heard as it is (mostly) black community radio and covers their community the most but I love to listen to it too, especially mornings with Rhys Phillips if I’m in position to do so or Jazz brodcasts with Jeremy Rees (just for the record) so I believe this will be a great listening to some rather occassional Welsh on Radio Cardiff.
Presenter was,in hospital. Only just found out! All being well, the book review will be on next week! Oh well, the program went quite well with Blue Planet on TV with sound muted!
