I’ve been listening to the radio in Welsh most mornings for a couple of months now and I still understand practically nothing 
Fy nghariad asks me what they’re talking/singing about and I have to confess to having no idea…
I do make out words, days, times, etc, but rarely get the gist of the topic. But if I listen to the sports results/commentary on Saturdays, I can follow it better thanks to the repetition, or just by knowing what they’re on about in the first place.
I do a lot better watching S4C with visual cues, but can’t sit around watching telly all morning! Likewise, listening to the SSIW Course 1 practices is fairly straightforward.
What’s made the biggest difference for you?
