Sounds like a good reason to me

Hi Aran- could you explain the difference between âwnes I ddim and on I ddim please? I keep mixing them up!
âwnes i ddimâŚâ is used when the verb that follows refers to something you didnât do e.g. wnes i ddim darllen y llyfr - I didnât read the book
âoân i ddimâŚâ is used when the verb that follows is what we call a stative verb - i.e. a verb that denotes a state of being e.g. oân i ddim yn gwbod - literally, I wasnât (in a state of) knowing
So although in English weâd say âI didnât readâ and âI didnât knowâ, there is a difference between the "didnât"s in Welsh!
Hope that helps
