Hi Aran- could you explain the difference between ‘wnes I ddim and on I ddim please? I keep mixing them up!

“wnes i ddim…” is used when the verb that follows refers to something you didn’t do e.g. wnes i ddim darllen y llyfr - I didn’t read the book
“o’n i ddim…” is used when the verb that follows is what we call a stative verb - i.e. a verb that denotes a state of being e.g. o’n i ddim yn gwbod - literally, I wasn’t (in a state of) knowing

So although in English we’d say “I didn’t read” and “I didn’t know”, there is a difference between the "didn’t"s in Welsh!
