Shwmae pawb. I’m nearing the end of level 2 and I’m a bit confused by something pretty basic. It sounds to me as though ‘helpu ti’ and ‘dy helpu di’ are interchangable. Am I missing something subtle?
Felly, by way of example, “dw i’n moyn dy helpu di” and “dw i’n fodlon helpu ti”. Can the versions of ‘to help you’ be switched or am i barking up the wrong tree… Or just simply barking?

I am also wondering this near the end of level 2. I’m wondering if one is ‘help you’ and the other ‘your help’ but I’m not sure that this fits in with when it is used.

Yes these are variations - you can have either or both of the possessive adjectives - before and/ or after …(the one with just ‘ti’ has more of an English feel doesn’t it)…but if the verb mutated it would do even if the preceding adjective is dropped.

…because it is a verb in the middle, the verb is acting on the ‘form of person’ surrounding it (hard to describe!)…
…dy helpu di…= to help you
Versus a noun in the middle which indicates possession…
…dy help (di)…= your help
Hopefully that makes sense
