Can anyone explain how you get from ‘my mother’ to ‘your mother’?
my mother = fy mam
your mother (informal/singular) = dy fam (the pronoun ‘dy’ causes the m to change to f)
your mother (formal/plural) = eich mam
Is that what you mean?
