I have the App on the iPhone. Made a start and then took a phone call and cannot seem to continue from where I left off. I have tried to go back but not sure how far, nor how far the session has moved on.
Is there a timer, means of working out where I am ?
Are all the sessions the same length ish ?
Help - diolch- grazie

The app gives you a selection of practice sentences based on what has been introduced to you, so you may not get exactly the same sentence when you start it up again, but it will be from the same general place.
The learning comes in a continuous stream, so there is no “session length” as such. It’s just up to you to learn for a long as you wish, then leave it and come back again when you’re ready. You get lots of practice of the same things as you move through the course, so if you’re not sure of something when it’s first introduced, you will get more practice with it later.
The coloured belts are not 100% scientifically accurate, but give you a general idea of how far you’ve progressed through all the available material for a particular language.
We’re working on a solution for this at the moment.
A few things to note in the meantime:
There’s a built in ‘are you still watching’ type approach which prevents you from going too far, so if you have missed a bit it won’t be too much
The new courses repeat the intros inside slightly longer phrases a lot AND there is much more practice of each phrase.
So, in most people’s experience, where you are doesn’t really matter.
If you’ve never heard a phrase before and you get asked to say it, you can just treat it as an introduction.
If you trust the process, you’ll get there faster. The notion of ‘just pressing on’ seems to work really nicely with these new courses.
The little voice in your head won’t like that much, but it will be ok. Your brain can handle it. Even without you noticing. Perhaps - especially without you noticing.
Hopefully though, we will have some kind of more obvious way to skip back to specific introductions. We are slightly concerned that this will slow people down, despite making them more comfortable. So, we shall just have to see!
Anyway, keep doing what you’re doing - it’s definitely going to work.

Thank you, it is a different approach which I had not realised, which is interesting, I like to explore different processes. I could see the building up of patterns and it was fine.
Just when I stopped it became difficult. If I could stop and then start from the same spot, it would be ok. However, when I reopened the app the patterns were so very different with unknown vocab. I had to look up words elsewhere to keep going. That seems to defeat the process.
It seemed to have jumped ahead a fair distance and given me badges, which I am not sure what for. It also said I had been online for 11 mins which underestimated by a margin, not sure what it is counting.
Perhaps I need to log out or the system thinks I am still there and it takes time to pause. Maybe from my system to central server? and or the App runs in the background. The 11 mins online is way off which contradicts my theory- hmmm ??
