BTW, my Llangadog (Dyffryn Tywi) family and I said and say “gweud” instead of “dweud”. It even mutates differently. :smile:

I love the Y Wenhwyseg Twitter account. I now realise where my (adopted) default way of pronouncing Welsh has come from.

Stuff like -
Wastod (Gwastad) and Penrewl (Penyrheol).
Even in English, we say “Discusting” :slight_smile:
