Gemau Cymraeg i ddysgwyr

Helo pobl…

I need some assistance!

Every year I do Summer Play scheme in Torfaen, and this year I am Site Supervisor. I have been asked to provide a “Welsh is fun” workshop for the staff and volunteers at Play scheme.

I am not the most creative of people… and so I was wondering if any of you lovely people could think of any games that I could play with them, or any way I could make learning Welsh fun & exciting?

Also, it’s been a while since I began learning Welsh from scratch… For those of you who are maybe just beginning your Welsh journeys, what sort of things would you like to be learning if you were to undertake a Welsh workshop like this?

Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I just hope that I get to see all your replies (as I’m still getting used to this new Forum set-up!).

Diolch o flaen llaw! / Thanks in advance!

@leiafee might be able to make some great suggestions in here - as could a number of our meetup organisers - and maybe it’s a good one for the email, @Deborah-SSi ? :sunny:

The group activities I adapted for work ( based on old Level 1 course) are at: http://www.swanseaitec.co.uk/moodle/course/view.php?id=110

Lesson palns and styff.

Sweets for colours, “magnetic poetry” vocab, things like that.

@owainlurch 's story cards are good too.

Oo, well, if anyone wants the cards, just get in touch!

And as for magnetic poetry, here’s a snapshot from the Abertawe Welsh Group face group page

If anyone thinks stuff like that will help (magnetic poetry with mutations, eh!) then just get in touch.
