I’ve been using Anki for creating my own flash cards to help with remembering words.
Any plans for an SSi generated deck?

I’ve created cards from SSiW lesson guides but they contain only words and rear structures. And I’ve put all in one SSiW deck and didn’t devide them into lesson decks.
And, yes, Anki is good. You can manage the decks and cards as you wish adding content, reverse them etc …
Not at the moment - we think it works better if you revisit them as part of full sentences…
Agreed.
Fair shout (sut wyt’in dweud hynnyyn Gymraeg?!). Was thinking of those small moments when speaking out loud isn’t appropriate yet you still want to do some learning…
Yes, I think we’ve got plenty to do/think about to try and help make the course more flexible… I think in most cases, short burst stuff is probably best focused on listening exercises (especially if speaking out loud isn’t on the agenda!) - but we’ve got lots and lots of thinking to do about all the different times/ways people want to learn/use…
Most of my flashcards are full sentences. There is no rule that flashcards have to contain just a single word.
I like to think that making your own deck is often the best thing because often, different people expect different things from a deck.
And the sitting down and figuring out what you want is part of the learning
Absolutely true…
But if we did a specific SSiW collection of full sentences for Anki, it would have an awful lot of overlap with the actual SSiW course, so it would look to me a bit like unnecessary doubling up…
