Anyone interested in sharing a house next year for the eisteddfod? I’ve found one for 3/4 (depending if you mind sharing a double bed) ,

I have split this thread off from the other Eisteddfod Llanrwst thread, in order to keep that one for general Eisteddfod banter.
In this one we can focus on accommodation sharing during the Eisteddfod week.
Here’s the info from the other thread regarding next year’s national Eisteddfod -
Next year’s National Eisteddfod will be on the outskirts of Llanrwst , Sir Gonwy. In fact we have it on good authority that the actual location will be between Llanrwst and Betws y Coed . It will be a traditional Maes on farmland.
Here’s what the Eisteddfod have to say so far about next year…

As always every year, I raise the question of accommodation. There have been years where learners have come together to share accommodation for the Eisteddfod week, created their own mini Bootcamp experience and had a wonderful time in the process. Next year some of you may find attending tricky as it’s in a fairly rural setting and popping in and out as people did in Caerdydd, with good transport links and plenty of budget hotels and hostels, won’t be as easy in Llanrwst . So a house share could be a fun and interesting thing to do?
If you are thinking of a house share for next year’s Eisteddfod then please note that usually all the best large self catering houses get booked up pretty quickly. Large companies and organisations attending the Eisteddfod usually book accommodation for next year as soon as the dates are available on independent booking pages. This will be especially true of the Llanrwst area, as being so close to Betws y Coed it’s very popular with tourists.
If any of you are thinking of organising this, I would suggest getting interested individuals to either pay a deposit, or their share in full as soon as possible. This will save you from being worryingly ‘out of pocket’ should anyone pull out in the few weeks before the festival.
Looking for houses that have twin rooms or rooms with bunks means that you will be able to fit more people in than in houses with only double beds. Some houses will also offer sofa beds and extra camp beds which are always useful, and if there’s a garden you may be able to get away with sticking a tent in there as well!
Large self catering properties may look expensive at first glance, but with several sharing the price suddenly becomes very reasonable. But whether you decide to share or travel alone, here are some useful accommodation links for you which cover the Llanrwst and Betws y Coed areas.

@amandalaing . I’ve just booked for Vagabonds too, but if it turns out there’s enough support for a house share (cheapish!) I’ll come too.

Ooh great. I’m hoping even if we end up there, that it will be full of welsh speakers going to the eisteddfod

Anyone managed to book anything together?
Not a house as I didn’t get any response and others have already booked somewhere, so I’m booked into a bunkhouse in Betws but I can cancel up to July if anyone wants to share? Do you think there are likely to be buses put on between Llanrwst and Betws?

There are about two buses an hour already. There will probably be more!
