What is the difference between yn union and i’r dim?

It depends on the context or tone as to which one to use really, as they are both ways to say ‘exactly’/‘precisely’ - “i’r dim” can be likened to "to a ‘T’ " in English.

Scarcely, in the sense, “ I can scarcely believe it” appears to be “Prin y medra ei gredu” Is this right for position of’Prin’ and why the ‘y’. Never come across this before. Is it in Level3?
Yes, this is the right position because it’s a focused sentence. The ‘y’ is a ‘that’ - the Welsh phrase literally says “Rare/scarce that I can believe it”. I haven’t done the courses, so I can’t tell you where it appears - maybe someone else can jump in and say.
