Anyone know if Eisteddfod yr Urdd usually has much events/activities for younger kids (ie a 4 year old)?
Context: We usually take them to the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol and they love all of the Cyw performances, Mudiad Meithrin tent, activities in the Pentref Plant etc, but we’re also considering going to the 2027 Eisteddfod yr Urdd and trying to find out if there will be much interesting stuff aimed at their age.
Tried looking on the website but all the listings I can see are of the competitive categories rather than info about any of the surrounding events/activities.

I work for S4C, and we put things on for the little ones - I think there’s a Cyw show every day, for example, and we show kids content on our big screen when nothing else is happening. In the past, the week’s started with the littlest ones and then got older as the week goes on (with the stuff for the older teens/early 20s towards the end of the week). But I think the pattern changed this year when they went to a longer week (starting on the Saturday rather than the Monday), and I think the stuff for older people was on the first weekend. I didn’t go myself this year, unfortunately.
But definitely lots for little ones at the Urdd. And there’ll be all the stands aimed at kids of different ages there throughout (Mudiad Meithrin will have a big presence, for example).
