I was there on Monday, and I’ll be coming back tomorrow (Thursday). But I’ll be working, so jumping from event to meeting to event, and then heading home, unfortunately ![]()

Sorry, forgot. I’m volunteering in the Pavilion until 5.30 and twice on Saturday. Not doing anything after 5.30 today.
But it’s 5.30 now.
@margaretnock I wasn’t on the Maes yesterday, and I’m heading home Saturday morning, so I’m going to miss you. Shame! It would have been nice to catch up.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Garreg Las Eisteddfod this year. It was a wonderful week and a tremendous success, and we hope that all of you had a fantastic time in Llantwd last week.
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the competitions, whether in the composition contests or on stage. There was something for everyone to enjoy, and people had the opportunity to experience and celebrate an incredible variety of genres across the Maes throughout the week.
Thank you also to our exhibitors and stallholders, more than 250 of them, who helped create a lively, welcoming and fascinating Maes, filled with a wonderful range of goods, activities and displays. There really was something for everyone.
We hope you enjoyed the rich and varied programmes taking place across all of our venues from morning until night. Thank you to all our artists, performers and speakers, and to the audiences whose enthusiasm and support helped make every event special.
A huge thank you to our army of volunteers, who worked tirelessly throughout the week to ensure that everyone was safe, comfortable and well looked after around the Maes. We often say that the Eisteddfod simply could not happen without our volunteers, and that is absolutely true. We are immensely grateful to every one of you.
Special thanks to John “Cwmbetws” Davies and the executive committee for leading and guiding the Garreg Las project so successfully over the past eighteen months. Your dedication, vision and commitment have been an inspiration to us all. Thank you for everything you have done.
And finally, thank you to you, our supporters and Eisteddfod-goers, for making the journey to Garreg Las and helping to create a week that will stay in our memories for years to come.

The team will be taking a well-earned break from the end of this week until the beginning of September. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the summer, and thank you all once again for your support.
