Dysgŵyl!

This is just a bit of a teaser at the moment, but coming later in the year will be this:

At the moment we’re just scoping out the events, but there will be a full programme of talks, lessons, gigs, walks and social events. Watch this space!

There will be an opening concert on the evening of the 23rd, with a full programme of events on the 24th. We had hoped to have the timetable fully sorted by now, but unfortunately our local history expert was involved in a serious accident (he’s OK, but it was touch and go for a while) and we’ve had to re-jig.

And here’s the programme of events - it’s subject to change of course (I’m a little worried that we’re being optimistic that we’ll have a Rugby match to show  ) but I’m confident that it’s going to be a great event!

Sadly, due to some unjustified first half penalties and the fact that we just weren’t in the second half, there will be no rugby to show at Dysgŵyl. However, we’re replacing that with a trip down to the Cilmeri monument to take in the atmosphere and to hear local historian and Welsh teacher Steve Mason talk about the last days of Llywelyn ein Llyw Olaf. Not to be missed!
