Hi there
I was doing so well. Got to lesson 4 and was amazed at how much I could recall. But life got in the way with family issues and I havent done anything for about 7 weeks now.
Is it worth me starting again? I am so behind on the schedule of lessons!
Also (and a accept it must be me being a bit daft!) I dot understand the link between the static lesosns and the automagic…the automagic doesnt seem to have lessons ordered/numbered like the static…and you cant start a lesson where you want to? I dont understand which i should be using and its putting me off to be honest!
Hello Mel,
I think most of us had the same problem from time to time, that life gets in the way of the lessons. Basically it is up to you, if you want to keep going. You can send an email to admin@saysomethingin.com and request to be “set back” to a certain week, or to get put “on hold” for the weekly emails, or maybe something else entirely. If you ultimately decide to cancel your subscription, that would also be something to raise via an email to the same adress.
Now, the question about challenges or AutoMagic is just how the material is presented. The challenges are pre-recorded audio files of about 30 minutes each, while AutoMagic generates the material “on the fly”, internally keeping track of where you are. Both methods cover the same material in the end, so it is more or less a question of taste and accessibilty. (For example you can download the challenges to an mp3-player to listen to them while jogging, something you can’t really do with AutoMagic). But there is no inherent link or synchronization between the challenges and AutoMagic, so if you just do challenges, AutoMagic will show a progress of 0 minutes, and if you just do AutoMagic, you won’t (exactly) know what challenge you’d be on.
