Hi folks, there’s a Deg y Dysgwyr mini series up, starring our very own @Hendrik who very kindly asked himself questions and recorded the answers for me! Diolch Hendrik!

Thank you for these - I love the story and how it is using more colloquial language (which it is so important to learn). Diolch yn fawr iawn, @Hendrik - you speak so clearly and have such a rich vocabulary in Welsh. That is what I am aiming for!

Diolch Neil, that’s what I’m trying to do in the Dyddiadur - give a real sense of how people speak. Caernarfon is the Welshest place on earth but all Cofis speak a degree of what is referred to as Wenglish. It can be harder to pick up than formal Welsh, because your ear is trained to pick up Welsh. Dyddiadur is very different to Caru, Paru a Galaru which is more formal and literary. So your brain is copping it on all fronts!
And yes, isn’t Hendrik a star?
