Hi, what is the difference between deall and dallt (to understand) please? I think it’s regional (south = deall, north = dallt) but not sure.
Yes, it’s a regional thing. Deall is heard all over Wales, whereas you tend to hear dallt more in the NW. Other than that, there’s no difference, they mean exactly the same.
