I think I’ve found the perfect activity to do while I listen to my SSIW challenges.
Dead heading and watering in the garden.
I can do 2 things at the same time. Which doesn’t happen very often.
What do you do while learning welsh?

Drive, usually. I tend to listen to the challenges while I’m in my car. Don’t get a lot of time to do it at other times.
One thing I’ve found on a few occasions is that if I’m concentrating on the course while driving on autopilot, I sometimes struggle with remembering stuff, but when something happens on the road where I have to switch my attention, such as working out what lane to be on a roundabout, or if someone else on the road does something unexpected and I have to react, the Welsh sometimes just jumps into mind without thinking.
There’s a lot to be said for the subconscious mind!!!
Yes. Obv all the usual safety warnings apply for driving, but thats how I learned. TBH if anything it chilled me off a bit when others cut me up .
Where I work now, all the young staff have tablets with earphones, so I decided to join them when I’m working on laptop. The only downside is that I have been known to sign off emails with “Diolch”.
Im well into the earplugs now and even wear them at home when doing anything that doesn’t require me interacting with people. Or if it does, I just nod or something
I’m not a gardening expert, so at first I thought it was quite peculiar listening to challenges and the Grateful Dead while watering plants.
(I had the feeling there was something wrong in my interpretation, and now I’ve learnt a new meaning of English words!)
While to answer your question…I’m just not able to remember the English sentences - even more than the Welsh words - if I’m doing something else at the same time!
However, I do have a favourite setting: a beach, watching the sea.
Nice/neis
Ooh the beach. I’ll try that tomorrow! Hope it’s not too crowded with people to hear me chatting in welsh.
That’s where my mind went, too!
I like to do my challenges while I take my cat out for his nature walks.
