Dawel Nos a virtual performance by Theatr Bara Caws

Theatr Bara Caws have been in touch to tell us about an exciting new drama they have created, titled Dawel Nos, which will soon be streamed over the Internet.

In order to make staging the performance viable, the company are selling tickets to view at £5 each, which will provide the viewer with an exclusive code, giving them access to streaming.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN ADULT PRODUCTION AND DEFINITELY NOT SUITABLE FOR UNDER 18s

If you know Theatr Bara Caws, you’ll know that their performances are unforgettable and totally hilarious. So get your gladrags on, pour a glass of your favourite tipple, get yourself some snacks and plump up the cushions on your sofa - you’re in for a real treat, full of laughs and the best ‘bad language’ Wales has to offer…

The year? 2020! And it’s Lockdown!

We all had to work from home.

Some began a keep-fit regime and others…started to drink. And the odd one drank while keeping fit.

Children were taught at home by clueless, short-tempered parents, while their teachers struggled from day to day on a six week holiday on full pay.

We all came together to applaud the staff of Timpsons………………………key workers.

We wore masks and observed the 2 metres rule — which some should’ve been doing way before lockdown.

This year Bara Caws had hoped to tour our highly successful club show, not only throughout Wales, but to all corners of the universe, but because of this damn corona virus, no-one was allowed to go anywhere.

No-one except for the Emperor, the Prince of Darkness himself, Dominic Cummings, who, for some reason, was allowed to travel wherever he wanted.

Well, we weren’t about to let Emperor Cummings and his faithful side-kick Jabba the Hut Johnson get the better of us.

So, here is Bara Caws ’s virtual club show, Dawel Nos . (Silent Night)

I’m just getting in touch with Theatr Bara Caws to check if the production comes with subtitles, I’ll let you know once they’ve replied.
