UPDATE FROM NIA:
2025 Wythnosau Byw’n Gymraeg | Live Welsh Weeks
Booking link and dates below.
This will be Hwyliaith’s second year of running Live Welsh Weeks.
Hwyliaith is the new Community Interest Company set up by Nia Llywelyn.
Our Live Welsh Weeks or Wythnosau Byw’n Gymraeg deliver the full Welsh experience, language and culture to anybody who wants a fun week of immersion.
We aim to do a variety of activities, people will cook and eat together in Welsh and you’ll make new friends during this adventurous week.
People come to raise their confidence in the Welsh language and you’ll be made at ease with all the support around you.
What’s great is as soon as you step out of the front door you’ll hear Welsh spoken naturally in a town in west Wales. Garth Newydd is the first centre of it’s kind to be able to provide you with this experience. You’ll also be encouraged by everyone around you. We have made strong connections with Lampeter and the surrounding area during the last two years of delivering welsh raising confidence holidays in Garth Newydd.
New dates to be released for 2025:
The courses will run from late Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon.
16-21 Mawrth
11-16 May
31 May -6 June
Booking on www.paned.cymru. You’re welcome to contact me first on codihyder@gmail.com.
Some feedback received so far:
“I couldn’t have wished for a better experience to improve my confidence in the Welsh Language. To be immersed in the Welsh language, culture and community both inside and outside Garth Newydd lifted my spirits and my ability to speak Welsh confidently in front of people. An experience I will never forget.” - Lynda
