To all friends in the Midlands, the Coventry group will be meeting on the SECOND Wednesday of the month this month, not the first Wednesday as advertised. This is Wednesday 9th May in the usual venue of the Litten Tree pub, Warwick Road, Coventry at 6.30 pm. Everyone welcome.

Hi Trevor, if I remember I’ll put a sign up on the table, if not then I look exactly like I do in my profile picture (long hair, starting to go grey) except that I will have a pint of beer in front of me rather than a keyboard.
Since my last reply I have been offered a gig in Birmingham this week, so sadly I can’t make tonight. Hopefully see you in June.

It was great to see those who could come this most recent SECOND Wednesday… Some day I’ll have to try to get along to a Rugby garden centre with help of @mintonman or someone else. @Isata has never done Coventry, right? I still wonder about Coventry-Birmingham&BlackCountry friendly relations…
I have done Coventry, actually. But unfortunately not many times before things went awry (with me, not with Coventry). I’ll find out when the next one is, but I suspect that I’ll have left the Midlands and moved back to the promised land by then.
