For those of you living in Australia, Indonesia, Japan or anywhere else in the range of time zones that are from 8 to 11 hours ahead of the UK, it can be difficult to find chat partners, but there are online sessions organised by Australian new Welsh speakers available for you through the Welsh Speaking Practice (WSP) Slack group.
They currently take place on Mondays and Wednesdays at 17:00 Western Australian time, which is UTC+8, i.e. 8 hours ahead of the UK.
These sessions may also be suitable for people in other parts of the world, e.g. the Americas, depending on your time differences there.
If you’re not a member of the WSP and you’d like an invitation, just request one here or email admin@saysomethingin.com with WSP as the subject.
