Had anyone else felt like this with this stage of Level 1?
It’s all the time now that I’m using de/para the wrong way round.
And I’m so confused by when we should and shouldn’t say preguntarLE when we’re asking you/he/she/mi madre etc.
I still haven’t worked out when to say lo/la - is this to be expected?
And can anyone explain in a simple way or recommend any resources for learning these?
A quick search online brought up loads of basic Spanish grammar resources. I’ve just had a very quick look at 3, and of those, I think perhaps this one would be of use to you, as it doesn’t assume people know all the grammar terminology and gives you practice identifying things such as ‘verbs’ in English before you tackle them in Spanish.
It’s over 200 pages long, but if you just go directly to the parts you’re interested in, you might find it helps you: https://www.cervantes.ir/files/libros/Spanish%20grammar%20made%20easy%20(2018).pdf
