hi- I’m a bit confused 4 mins in - sentence began “someone who wanted” but i can’t hear a “sydd or sy’n” for “who” - it sounds like “oedd yr moyn?” Where am I going wrong please?
You’re not going wrong at all. What you expect for “who” only works in the present tense, so “Someone who wants” is in fact Rhywun sy’n (sydd yn) moyn. But for “Someone who wanted” you say Rhywun oedd yn moyn.
