Ceri on Radio Cymru after just 4 months of learning Welsh!

Ceri Francis was on Radio Cymru this morning talking about her early family connections to Wales and the important contributions they made to Welsh culture. It brought tears to my eyes to hear her!

This is the link to her interview with Aled Hughes https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0009bsc and you can hear Ceri at about 1:16 towards the end.

Hollol wych Ceri! Bendigedig!

Thank you to everyone who listened and for all the lovely, encouraging comments. @jen @gisella-albertini @rich @neil-jones @JohnYoung @Janette. It was rather daunting at the time but also a great opportunity. I think what helped me get to the point where I was able to do that is attending the slack hangouts on a regular basis so I’m hearing lots of welsh that isn’t necessarily the same as in the course. It has also helped me to get used to responding quickly and stop worrying about making mistakes. In the hangouts we end up talking about things we are interested in so it opens up a way to learn new words etc and practice telling stories - like we are supposed to do in the course (level two anyway):grinning:. Hope to see you in a hangout soon and thanks to @Deborah-SSi and @nia.llywelyn for all the help, encouragement and patience.
