I’ve been away doing other things for a while (kept up the subscription as a gesture of support, though…) but have decided to try my hand at learning Japanese with Automagic.
Has any progress been made on the promised ‘rewind to a user-chosen point’ feature yet? To me this was such an essential pillar of the success of the New Course, I was surprised when it was left out of Automagic originally so I’m hoping that it’s now been implemented.
Is there a list anywhere of the improvements that have been made over the original implementation – a ‘release history’ if you like…
The main recent changes have been to the navigation. The Revisit button takes you back 1 introduction item, and the Skip takes you forward 1 introduction item.
If you want to jump forward or backward more than that, then you click on Account, then My Languages, and there’s a little pencil icon you can use to adjust your position to the beginning of a different belt colour.
Other enhancements have been more “under the cover” so to speak, not so obvious to users, but improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning methodology, and they’re on-going of course
