Bydda? Fyddet?

what you’d like to do

Is it
be’ fyddet ti’n licio ‘neud
or
be’ bydda ti’n licio 'neud

I thought ‘you would’ was fyddet ti, but I’m sure that I’m hearing bydda ti

My brain is getting jumbled!

Written down it would be the first one - be’ fyddet ti’n licio 'neud
you would = byddet ti
would you = fyddet ti (a question technically causes a soft mutation)

but a couple of things to bear in mind here…
a) not everyone puts the mutation in,
b) in some areas (particularly in the North) some 'e’s often get pronounced as 'a’s (e.g. you’d hear ‘bora da’ instead of ‘bore da’),
c) the ‘et’ often runs into the ‘ti’ making fyddet ti or byddet ti sound like fydda ti or bydda ti

Hope that helps unjumble your brain a bit!
