Brain freeze on challenge 9 LEVEL 2 De Cymru

Progressing thro challenges and now up to challenge 14 De Cymru level 2,but plagued by “So ni’n gwybod”(we don’t know)and “Do’n ni ddim yn gwybod”(we did n’t know) Could somebody try to explain the grammar behind So ni’n and Do’n ni at the start of the statement so that I can mentally have a reason to log it and then it should naturally sink in .Diolch Bob.

The ‘so’ is a very southerny thing - you can live without it easily enough - you’re using it (in this case) instead of ‘dyn ni ddim yn gwybod’ - present tense - and the ‘do’n ni ddim’ is the past… :slight_smile:

Thanks for your prompt reply Aran,I think I did come across dyn ni ddim in the old version level1 De Cymru.Like all languages people shorten/combine words.Problem solved and best wishes to you and your family for the New Year.
