And Alpha is only a week or so, to make sure the course functions as expected, even if some of the audios will need to be replaced.
(Basically our process is such that we can ‘replace’ audio files on an ad-hoc basis without having to rebuild a whole course)

I’m sorry, but I have to ask for help again.
I was doing the French course on the App (Android) and it worked fine until Sunday. When I started the App on Sunday evening, I had to start from the beginning. I tried again on Monday, the same. I looked into the stats and I still had the purple belt. I de-installed and re-installed the App, but after that I had the white belt.
I turned the phone off and on, I reset it to the manufacturers specifications, installed the App again and now I can log in, but then nothing happens. The circle tells me " loading" and turns, than stopps and doesn’t move.
I tried the Web App, there I still have the purple belt, but every day I have to start at the beginning.
This is quite frustrating.

A small number of people (thankfully) have had this type of problem which has been quite difficult to pin down but we believe we have found and fixed this problem on our test server.
It sounds like your account will be a great one to check it out on. We will do this in the morning.

My French course also reset to the beginning when I resumed on Tuesday. I haven’t been returned to the beginning of the interludes, however, so a bit of persistent skipping put me back where I wanted to be.
I see that Italian is in alpha, are there any other languages coming close to beta release or any being alpha tested? A few months ago I felt we were weeks away from an abundance of new courses 
I am being kept adequately busy by what is currently available, of course, but I’m curious know of any updates. Do you post your news anywhere with regularity?
We don’t quite have a release schedule yet, because we’re still working out a few things in relation to progress. But, we hope Italian will go live this week and then next week we expect to have Portuguese, German and Chinese in alpha. We’ll keep you posted but this is the place for updates!
Please can you be more specific than Chinese? In China, “Chinese” means the official language, Mandarin.
In the UK if you meet someone who speaks “Chinese” that usually means Cantonese.
Yes I can! We use the Chinese approach which is to refer to what we call Mandarin Chinese as Chinese. We may do dialects later on like Cantonese, Shanghainese etc.
Sorry to add to the questions, but any languages from the Indian subcontinent on the list of near future additions? I’d be very keen to see Punjabi one and would def do the alpha testing if that were an option 
Not in the 2024 plan, but in the plan for 2025 for sure. The limit at the moment is the voice technology for generating speech.

A question about the belt levels on the French course. I reached the brown belt level about a month ago, but when I check on the stats tab, my progress seems to have been frozen; it says ‘;current belt reached 35 days ago’, and ‘next belt due in 9 days’ but those numbers seem to have stuck about 2 weeks ago, and haven’t progressed since.
It’s not a huge problem in that I’m still getting new content, and I’m still enjoying working through it, but I just wondered if it was a glitch that the team are aware of?

The fruits of our labour are just starting to come down the line with some adjustments to the server side software today based on our findings - related to progress anomalies.
