Which is the best downloadable dictionary for an iPhone or I-Pad for a new learner?

I use Ap Geiriaduron, but I also like the Geiriadur Prifysgol Cymru app. It gives you too many choices and too much history, sometimes, but it can also (a) include words that the other doesn’t and (b) help me to remember things by showing where they come from. For example, in a sgwrs in Oxford we wanted the word ‘volunteer’ - I’m going to remember gwirfoddoli now that the GPC has broken it down into gwir + bodd (true + will, like ‘benevolent’ = good + will) for me.

Me too - handy on an iphone. If something’s niggling me and I want more detail I use the Geiriadur Yr Academi. Only problem is I get lost for ages reading the entries.
