I have been stuck at home in the Scottish Borders for the past three months, so made this to prevent madness. I was tempted to hide it away in another ‘thread’ but @CatrinLliarJones suggested starting a new topic, so here goes. Hope I haven’t completely destroyed the (Southern) Welsh language by trying to make my own version of Iath ar Daith. Hope it works.
Da iawn Doug! Bendigedig! My, there are some big 'uns in there!
Thank you for sharing! Though I didn‘t understand much I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video!
Absolutely wonderful Doug! I’m so glad you shared it and that I was at last able to watch it properly. A fantastic effort with great vocabulary and as Siaron said …
Both fish and words!
Llongyfarchiadau!
(I’ve tweaked your title a little, Doug. I hope you don’t mind )
Gwych! I couldn’t understand everything but I really enjoyed it. Love videos like this
Outstanding work!
I would absolutely LOVE to see more iaith-ar-daith-ish videos from our learners…
Tweak away! Anything which improves it is welcome.
@dougewart, I absolutely love it - there’s a lot of work gone into that!..very professional indeed, wow!
Thanks for sharing it,
Rich
Diolch yn fawr. Thanks, I did not understand very much but it was very impressive to see you fishing in this tremendous river:slightly_smiling_face:. Perhaps I will return and ask you for some words regarding fly-fishing.
Martin
Diolch Martin, I’ll help if I can but I do rely heavily on Y Geiriadur Mawr and where there isn’t a direct translation I make a ‘best guess’.
