I am coming up to paying for another year. Having been quite pleased with my progress everything went wrong when I finished the lessons, lack of discipline.
I told myself that I had gone as far as I could and had just lost interest, but that isn’t really true. It was feeling disappointed in myself.
What I would really like is to start from the very beginning, is this possible?
It is possible - if you drop admin@saysomethingin.com a line, they’ll be able to sort that out for you - but the fact you talk about ‘lessons’ makes me wonder if you were using the old static files - Level 1, Level 2 and so on - if so, you might find that using the app will a) be an interesting change and b) start you from the beginning naturally, since we don’t have a way of knowing how many of the old lessons anyone has used
And as for feeling disappointed - if you finished all the lessons (including Level 3?) you shouldn’t be disappointed, you should be enormously proud of yourself! That’s a huge amount of work. You probably need to have a single one hour long conversation in Welsh (going through the pain barrier in the first 30 or 40 minutes without giving up and going back to English!) to find out just what an enormous amount you have learnt
Thank you so much, I started on automagic, went over to the app, I also did the old lessons where you only hear it, that was tough!
I have learnt the first verse and chorus of the anthem, doing that I realised how much I have been missing it. I know there is practice mode but I think I’d like to work through it again and then try to be brave .
Sounds as though you’re giving yourself lots of input, and that’s the key thing! In the app, you can always skip back to earlier belt levels (although I do strongly suspect you’ve done much better than you realise, and just need to jump into some practice conversations ).
I’m enjoying the course all over again, it was never about being in a hurry, but I think I may have rushed a bit at some point. I will find out when I reach that point.
