Not impressed with BabelVillage I have to say. Loads of errors whilst creating an account on my mobile. I’ve deleted the account now, or at least I think I have - kept throwing up an error :slight_smile:
I’ve used italki in the past - a while ago now. I may give that another go. Anyone suggest any other good sites to chat? :slight_smile:

Skype is always my preference, but that would only be to speak with other learners. If you fancy a chat in Spanish, PM me your Skype details and we can try to set something up. I signed up with iTalki but it wants me to spend money with tutors or sends me loads of messages from people wanting to learn English from me, so its not ideal.

I have used gospeaky.com in the past but use it less frequently now. You can usually find someone to practice with very quickly, meaning if you feel the urge to speak now you can usually find someone within a few minutes to speak with. Personally, I don’t mind paying a small amount for speaking with someone in my target language because I know that they will only speak to me that language and that way I can focus only on it and I find that I make quicker progress in this manner.

Oh, sorry to hear that - it plays pretty well on desktop, which is where I usually am - I’ll make a note of that.

And it would be great to hear if you find any other good chat sites… :slight_smile:
