I have used automagic for more than 130 hours. Now it’s stuck and repeats the same sentence over and over
Hi @davidhamilton, are you talking about the AutoMagic prototype - the one that runs in a web browser - automagic.saysomethingin.com - or the new SaySomethingin app?
It jammed on me, after introducing several new things in quick succession. The new things didn’t appear again in sentences before jamming. I went to the App, that took ages and I wanted to go back a bit because I’d lost track, that played up too.
I thought it might be my problem.
A glitch I expect.
Hi @victoria-36, can you confirm that you’re initially talking about the AutoMagic prototype? The one that runs in a browser and says automagic.saysomethingin.com at the top? So that’s the one that has “jammed” for you. Do you mean the screen froze and nothing would work?
And then when you went to the App - that’s the new app, the one that’s available as a mobile app - SaySomethingin - or as a web version app.saysomethingin.com
And you used the ‘Revisit’ button to go over some earlier practice phrases in the new app? When you say it “played up”, can you describe what it did?
Yes, that’s right. So much new stuff arrived all at once that I thought I might have done something wrong. I went back and have now caught up, the overwhelming new things haven’t shown up.
I didn’t bother looking at the app. I’m quite prepared that it was all my fault .
Well, the main thing is that you’re back on track and enjoying learning
Hi, i cant run Automagic on the website, ii just says “loading”. Also i have been using the new SSI App for a while but it now seems to not be progressing and not introducing any new vocab and repeating the same 20 or so phrases.

I’ve just checked Automagic which seems to be working on my PC - so you still have a problem/ what are you running it on?
Can I check whether you are subscribed on the new App - you get new content up to Orange belt and then it will loop around - without a subscription that is…

@rhodri-2 your subscription looks fine so you just need to make sure you’re logging in with exactly the same email address that you’re subscribed with - don’t use the Apple/Google logins, but type your email address in carefully and the app will link up to your subscription.
You can quickly check if it’s found your subscription by looking below the Play bar. Does it say “Unlock all Belts” or “Change Course”? If it says “Unlock all Belts”, then you’re not logged into your account.
Hi, no i don’t have unlock all belts although i am at brown + black which seems to be the top belt? Have I come to the end of the learning available on the new app? or would it tell me that?
Also automagic still not working on desktop or mobile. In both cases it just says loading and does nothing else

We will check whether there is something related to your Automagic account set up, as in general it is working.
Are you doing Welsh North or South?
There is an update in the new version of the App which corrects a problem where people get stuck in a loop of only 20 or so sentences when the course is revising. That sounds a bit like your situation.
This new version is imminemt - it is in system test now.
