Please would you tell me where to find transcripts of Advanced lessons.

Roger

Hello Roger,

There is no way to download the transcripts from within the app, but when you access the advanced content through the web-page instead, there are download links next to the entries. If no such button appears there, then that means that there is no full transcript available for that item (but there should at least be an associated vocabulary file available).

Here is the link to access the advanced content:

@4abf2d65-20f6-42c5-b The old online player doesnā€™t have the ability to remember where you got to and restart from there, so the simplest way to do it is to download the audio files. They are saved as mp3 files, and will be then played by your deviceā€™s built-in mp3 player. These are usually capable of remembering where you stopped, and restarting from that point.

Itā€™s a good question, Verity - truth is, itā€™s an absolute minefield of complexity - so weā€™re going with a ā€˜karate beltsā€™ system as a starting point to give people a decent understanding of how theyā€™re doing - and next year, weā€™re going to be working on mapping that to some external assessment structures, like CEFR and IELTS, which should be helpful. Language assessment is really tricky, though - people can have wildly different levels in speaking/listening/reading/writing - so I would imagine weā€™ll be trying to fine-tune this and make it more useful for the foreseeable future

Hi, I have found the same,
I did Welsh at school up to exam standard aim South Wales but have just realised that the Welsh I learned is more North Wales than South. I also use hoffi, eisiau, etc.
I have therefore opted to follow North version as Iā€™m more comfortable with it, although I did sign up to a De version of dysgu cymraeg evening class as I presumed I knew De.
In reality I donā€™t think I matters as people seem to be using a mix so Iā€™d say choose whichever you feel comfortable with.
