I have completed the black belt on the ‘new’ app and have been going back through the old challenges on the older app. Yesterday I got kicked out of the old app, logged out and cannot sign in again. I can log in on the website using the same details, but don’t want to download all the mp3s. Is there a reason it doesn’t work any more?
I have a second query about the new app. Is thrrr a way to change the speed? The reason I’m going through the old sessions is to listen to them faster than 100%.

The old app has been superceded by the latest app, which you’re using already. If you want the audio files, you can get to them through Account, then My Resources and look for Classic Challenges there.
The current version of the new app doesn’t allow you to adjust the speed, but that’s coming in an updated version that is still in testing. If you want to enhance your listening skills, have you tried the Advanced Content on the website? They give your listening and aural comprehension a good workout.
Thanks for the reply. I must confess I understood I was using potentially unsupported software when I went back to the original app but was hopeful I might be able to keep using it (albeit without updates etc) indefinitely. Has there been a decision to retire the app/lock people out? Or have I just been fortunate to have had it work for so long?

Sorry, I know I’m asking a lot! I just love the app versions so much and when I’m using a browser to learn Welsh I usually choose to carry on the exercises on my Dysgu Cymraeg course.

Yes, it’s there in the new app if you go to Account, then My Resources. It takes you through to the website, but do you mean something different? If you don’t want to download them, then that’s the best way to access them.
