Lovely evening, great company, thanks for the invitation. I enjoyed meeting Nicky and wife for the first time and seeing old friends again. Talking of “old”, my evening was only slightly spoiled by discovering that I am older than Aran’s mum, 
Conversation flowed in many tongues with linguistically rich contributions by text from @CatrinLliarJones. It was as if she was in the room.

I was a little worried about the two poor guys on the other side of the room who must’ve been incredibly freaked out as the conversation on the other side of the room. flowed from Welsh to Italian to French via Spanish and everything else in between!
