Hiya pawb,
My friend has a really nice section of a poem, supposedly by Joseph Harris (Gomer is/was his bardic name), carved into wood at her house. I would love to find the original poem, but I have scoured the internet for a while and there’s no mention of it. I was told that it was a regular in welsh anthologies at school. I went to school in England so I have no idea. Here’s the text that I have.
Cael yn ôl o barth marwolaeth
Cân a ffydd a bri yr hên iaith
Cael yn ôl yr hên treftadaeth
A Chymru’n dechrau ar eu hymdaeth
Does this ring a bell with anyone? I’d love to read it in full.
