Afternoon in the south

I am starting lesson 20 in the third course.

Do I understand correctly that “this afternoon” (prynhawn 'ma) is pronounced “brow ma”?

It is just past 9:00 into the lesson.

Shwmae David.

It’s being pronounced as “p’nawn 'ma” in the recording, which is literally just a common shortening of “prynhawn 'ma” used in speech.
