A writer friend is compiling a book containing short poems from many countries, with the poems printed both in the original language and in English. A group of us are looking for a poem to represent Wales. As there is no money to pay rights, we’re hoping to get permission from a living poet who would like to get a bit more exposure. And if s/he has also translated it into English, that would be ideal, as we’d know that the translation was also true to what the poet intended.
